The incomparable King Diamond has submitted a powerful preview of his forthcoming horror trilogy which will begin with Saint Lucifer's Hospital 1920. Entrusted venerated producer Arthur Rizk for the final mix and master of the release.

The track was written and composed by King Diamond himself and executed by the rpoven line-up of Andy La Rocque and Mike Wead on guitars, Pontus Egberg on the bass, and Matt Thompson on drums. The cut is further bolstered by Danish standout vocalist Myrkur, who has become integrated into King's most recent performances providing supreme backing vocals.

Working with producer David Brodsky and Allison Woest of My Good Eye Visuals to bring the vision for the narrative to life on camera, King Diamond filmed a portion of the accompanying video at Pennhurst Asylum outside of Philadelphia - one of the country's most haunted destinations and hotbed for the paranormal.

“What a dark but great experience,” King says, “Hopefully that was not the last video we will be able to film there.”

The arrival of "Spider Lilly" lands as the metal icon recently completed his North American conquest with the Saint Lucifer's Hospital 1920 Tour that concluded earlier this month with special guests Overkill and Night Demon.

King Diamond also confirmed his return to European soil for a summer run of headlining plays as well as highly-anticipated festival appearances. Among the highlights, King Diamond will perform at Copenhell in Denmark, Graspop in Belgium and King's first Norwegian show in nearly two decades appearing at Beyond the Gates in Norway.

The tour will feature a rotation of support with sets from Paradise Lost, Angel Witch and Unto Others on select dates. Like the North American Saint Lucifer's Hospital 1920 Tour that just wrapped, King Diamond's European dates will again feature guest vocals from black metal enigma Myrkur - providing backing vocals for King Diamond for each performance.

The band shared of the announcement, "We have made a pact with the Devil himself to bring you a blasphemous summer in 2025. Join us with Paradise Lost, Angel Witch and Unto Others on select dates as we open the gates of Hell throughout your cities. Also joining us is Myrkur as special guest vocals during the King Diamond set."
