Debuting their first reveal of new music since their lauded 2024 full length, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, Knocked Loose have teamed with none other than Denzel Curry to deliver a gut punch of a single with "Hive Mind". Evolving from tourmates to collaborative conspirators, the pairing proves especially potent on a track that smashes the tropes of rap rock.
Volatile, violent and stylized with serious verbal agility, the vocal tandem attack of Bryan Garris and Denzel Curry make for an elite combination - one that should put the greater world of heavy music on notice - that this is the new wave. Bridging the world of metallic hardcore with hip hop, the track goes for the jugular from the jump and never lets up.
Garris spoke about the band's alliance with Curry and the understanding that in order for the idea to work, authenticity had to be key. "This is something we've talked about doing for a long time. We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it."
Paired with the new music from Knocked Loose and Densel Curry, "Hive Mind" arrives with a new music video directed by Eric Richter and Bryan Garris himself. The clip was filmed in the band’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky at the skate landmark, David Armstrong Extreme Park.
Coming off a career year in 2025, Knocked Loose are set to resume their run on the road with a pair of festival appearances at Sick New World in Las Vegas and Dallas/Ft. Worth later this year. In addition, the band have been tapped to support the mighty Metallica as well as Bring Me the Horizon in between international festival appearances.
