Knocked Loose Forced to Cancel Australian Tour Dates and Good Things Festival Set

Knocked Loose Forced to Cancel Australian Tour Dates and Good Things Festival Set

Read the statement from the band regarding a family emergency that forced the rescheduling.

With Australia's Good Things Festival just days away, organizers have been forced to pivot as two of the prominently featured bands in Knocked Loose and The All-American Reject have both been forced to pull out cue to family emergencies respectively.

For Knocked Loose in particular, the news includes the cancellation of the band's run of headlining shows in Australia entirely. In addition to the band's appearance at Good Things Festival with headlining sets from Tool, Weezer and many more, Knocked Loose also had confirmed headlining dates with support form High Vis scheduled that have since been scrapped as a result.

The band shared in a statement, “We’re very sorry to everyone but we have to cancel our Australia trip, including the Good Things Festival and our headline shows around it. Anyone familiar with this band knows we do not take cancelling shows lightly; but family will always come first. We are already planning our return and cannot wait to be back as soon as possible. Love you all.”

As for who will step in, Good Things has confirmed Aussie's own Alpha Wolf will take on Knocked Loose's spot with some home cooking. Additionally, Stand Atlantic will step in for The All American Rejects with each taking on those vacant spots respectively.

Alpha Wolf took to their socials to share, “Unfortunately, our friends in Knocked Loose are unable to play the Good Things Festival, we’re sending them all our love and we’re going to try our best to fill their shoes on super short notice. Catch us on the Main Stage at 3:30pm in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this weekend!”
