In the universe of heavy music, few festivals have earned the rank of Hellfest. Among the must-attend destinations for extreme metal, heavy music legends and groundbreaking performances - Clisson, France has become tradition.
For the 2025 edition of the fest, which sells out every year, the four day excursion will feature headlining sets from KORN, Muse (making their first headlining appearance) as well as Scorpions and Linkin Park who will be playing the event for the first time since 2017.
Among the more interesting takeaways include the broad variety of heavy music which has been integrated into the Hellfest line-up that typically leans more towards extreme metal favorites and heavy metal legends. While Hellfest offers no shortage of legends with the likes of Judas Priest, Exodus, Dream Theater, Abbath, as well as punk icons like The Damned and the Frank Carter-era of Sex Pistols on the bill, there is a healthy representation of young blood for balance.
Among the higher billed bands, Falling In Reverse, Spiritbox, Lorna Shore, Electric Callboy, along with Turnstile and Knocked Loose are among the artists that are anchoring the 2025 pool. Additional highlights from the announcement include Till Lindemann, Dethklok, Imminence, Turbonegro, The Cult, A Day to Remember, Motionless In White, Refused, Cypress Hill and Jerry Cantrell just to include a few.
