Celebrating their fourth decade of thrash metal mastery, Kreator march towards the January 16th release of their landmark sixteenth full length studio album, Krushers of the World. The album follows the band's recent releases of the documentary film Hate & Hope as well as Your Heaven, My Hell, the autobiography of front man Mille Petrozza.
Teaming with producer and collaborator Jens Bogren, the album taps into the collective triumph achieved with Phantom Antichrist (2012) and Gods Of Violence (2017). Completing the presentation of the milestone release, Kreator enlisted Polish artist Zbigniew Bielak to craft the album's stunning artwork.
Following the initial reveal of gargantuan lead single, "Seven Serpents," Kreator have delivered another preview from the presentation, this time sourcing the legendary horror repertoire of Italian filmmaker, Dario Argento. "Tränenpalast" serves as a musical ode to the definitive 1977 cult horror classic, Suspiria. Sourcing elements from the iconic film's storyline, the track's melodies and progression also offer a tip of the hat the film's original score composer Claudio Simonetti and prog metal pillars, GOBLIN.
Kreator's Mille Petrozza shared of the metallic homage, "'Tränenpalast' is our tribute to the great tradition of Italian cinema. We drew inspiration from Dario Argento's classic Suspiria and Luca Guadagnino's epic masterpiece remake. Musically, we bow to the great Goblin, in direct conversation with maestro Claudio Simonetti. We hope you enjoy the song as much as we do. Only love to the greats! Hail to the Hordes!"
In support of the January arrival of Krushers of the World, Kreator will embark on a comprehensive EU/UK headlining tour. The March/April run will also feature a colossal supporting line up with the likes of Carcass, Exodus and NAILS bolstering one of the year's biggest touring packages.
