Kublai Khan TX Announce New Album, 'Exhibition of Prowess'

Stream the sub-sixty second slobber knocker of single with the album opener, "Supreme Ruler".

Just weeks away from beginning one of the most anticipated tours of the season supporting Lorna Shore on their North American headlining run, Texas-bred brutalizers Kublai Khan TX have confirmed the arrival of their next full length album, Exhibition of Prowess. The album is due out September 20th via Rise Records and thus far has been previewed with the pair of pulverizing singles in "Theory of Mind" and "Low Tech".

To make the announcement of the new album official, Kublai Khan TX have offered another reveal from the full length with the release of the album's hostile opener - "Supreme Ruler". Showcasing the band's brand of musical brawn, further emphasized by frontman Matt Honeycutt's confrontational presence, the track needs less than one minute to prove powerfully effective.

The band spoke succinctly about the intentions of the single and why it serves as the opening statement of the new album. "'Supreme Ruler' is a metalcore torpedo aimed straight at the world. This song captures the true simplicity and pissed-off essence of Kublai Khan TX in its rawest form. Straight to the point, no bullshit, and built to last.”

Among the most committed bands to the road in their space, Kublai Khan TX will spend the remainder of the year trekking in support of the new record. Later this month, the band travels to Australia for a headlining run supported by Terror, Guilt Trip and Splinter. From there, Kublai Khan TXX returns stateside to support Lorna Shore on the sold out North American tour along with Whitechapel and Sanguisugabogg. The band punctuate the touring slate of 2024 with a direct support play on Motionless In White's Apocalypse Fest in Wilkes/Barre, PA on November 1st.

Rolling straight into the new year, Kublai Khan TX will travel abroad to take on an early 2025 EU/UK headlining run, proving they are among the hardest working metallic hardcore bands in the game. See the complete list of tour dates below. Get tickets - HERE
