Lamb of God, Judas Priest and Slaughter to Prevail Set for Bloodstock's 25th Anniversary

See the first wave of confirmed artist for the silver anniversary of one heavy music's most beloved annual destinations. 

With the 2025 edition of Bloodstock Open Air drawing to dramatic close at Catton Park in Derbyshire over the weekend, sets from Trivium, Gojira and the return of Machine Head made for a memorable four days at one of the UK's most beloved heavy music events. 

Set to celebrate the festival's silver anniversary in 2026, Bloodstock has already announced a first wave of artists confirmed for the milestone 25th installment of the outdoor festival. 

Set to headline Friday night August 7th on the Ronnie James Dio stage, American groove metal titans Lamb of God will take on Bloodstock for an evening od sonic decimation. The following night August 8th, Russian deathcore juggernaut Slaughter to Prevail will head the closing ceremonies of Saturday night on the same RJD stage. The band will be out in support of their recently released Grizzly LP. 

As for Sunday August 9th's final set, the festival finale will include a legendary set from heavy metal icons in Judas Priest who will be celebrating more than five decades as pillars of volume, distortion and leather-clad spectacle. 

Among the list of artists confirmed for the initial wave performing at the 25th anniversary of Bloodstock, Canadian tech-death heroes Cryptopsy will be performing a 30th anniversary None So Vile set along with synth-slaying Frenchman, Carpenter Brut. Sepultura will make an appearance while on their farewell tour, with sets fro Wednesday 13, Norwegian innovators Leprous, as well as Municipal Waste, Death Angel and Northlane. 

Additional standouts set for Bloodstock 25 include Des Moines crew Vended, Swedish sensation Orbit Culture, hardcore legends in Life of Agony and Biohazard plus the union of emerging forces like Ohio's 200 Stab Wounds and long-tenured underground champs like Sweden's Shining. 

BLOODSTOCK 2026 will take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 6th - 9th August, 2026. Early bird tickets are already sold out, but fans can get their hands on standard tickets which are now available - HERE
