Coinciding with the post-hardcore band's return to the stage for their final round of shows ever, letlive. have announced a remixed and remastered edition of their beloved 2013 full length studio LP, The Blackest Beautiful.
Initially release more than a decade ago, The Blackest Beautiful marked a watershed moment for the band, cementing their place in contemporary post-hardcore and propelling letlive. to be one of the category's most poignant, powerful performers. For the refreshed edition of the album, the original 11-tracks have been entirely remixed and remastered. Additionally, the latest edition features two bonus tracks, marking the first digital release from letlive. since their return.
Bolstering the profile of the revisited release, letlive/ have enlisted Many Eyes and former Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley for a spin on "27 Club." Previewing the updated album, letlive. have shared the reimagined take on "The Dope Beat Rendition" which features Dan Campbell of The Wonder Years.
“It’s surreal hearing The Blackest Beautiful remastered after all these years,” says guitarist Jeff Sahyoun. “This record meant everything to us, and now it gets to live again in a new light. I couldn’t be more excited to share it with everyone.”
Speaking to the importance of the record, guitarist Jean Nascimento added, “The Blackest Beautiful is a lighthouse for those who feel lost in this mad world,” “It’s an honor for us to give our fans a chance to listen and have a new perspective on this album, one more time.”
As for the reunion for the band's farewell run of shows, letlive. have been confirmed for major festival appearances at the DC and Orlando dates of Warped Tour, When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, Louder Than Life in Kentucky, and the UK’s 2000 Trees Festival.
