Riding a rock music resurgence, Creed continue to their renaissance with the third installment of their Summer of 99 and Beyond Festival. Set for July 18 and 19th at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL., the two-day fest will include a carefully curated line-up that features Creed closing out a weekend touting featured performances from legendary favorites and breakout sensations.
Set to headline the "Higher" mainstage, Creed has recruited Limp Bizkit along with pioneering hip hop trailblazers Cypress Hill. In addition, the first day will feature supporting sets from the likes of Sevendust, Kittie and Puddle of Mud for some serious nostalgia. Adding some new blood to the identity of the festival, day one will feature on the "Are You Ready" side stage, sets from emerging forces in Magnolia Park, The Pretty Wild and heavy hip hop hybrid, Slay Squad.
Day two will be anchored by a finale from Creed along with sets from Gavin Rossdale and Bush plus rock powerhouse Mammoth and vets Candlebox and Hoobastank. Day two's opening artists will include a mesh of new voices and established collectives with Sleep Theory, Big Wreck, The Verve Pipe and Ashes Of Billy rounding out the line-up.
The third edition of Creed's Summer of 99 and Beyond Festival follows the band's first two installments, each of which were sold out.
