The first glimpse of Download 2026 has bveen revealed and thus far the scope is enormous. Three days at Donington - boasting some 90 of the biggest names in rock and metal has the excitement already spiking.
Anchoring the top billing, Download 2026 will feature a trio of UK exclusives with Limp Bizkit, Guns N' Roses and the reconfigured Linkin Park serving as the Friday, Saturday and Sunday headliners respectively. For Limp Bizkit, the confirmation of their headlining play at Download serves as a full circle moment, marking the band's first time ever in the top spot. The band was actually booked to headline the first ever edition of Download in 2003 and had to pull out.
As for Linkin Park, the band return to headline the festival for the first time in more than a decade and their first time ever with Emily Armstrong on the mic. 2026 also marks the mighty return of Guns N' Roses - the band's first play at Donington since 2018.
Among the 90 bands confirmed with the latest announcement, 2026 will also mark the Download debut for hip hop legends, Cypress Hill. Additional standouts include sets from Bad Omens, Trivium, Architects, Electric Callboy, Halestorm, Ice Nine Kills, BABYMETAL, Black Veil Brides, Behemoth, Mastodon, the brothers Max and Iggot Cavalera, Blood Incantation and so many more.
