The wait is officially over. Linkin Park has unveiled their next phase as a band introducing Emily Armstrong of grunge rock outfit Dead Sara as their new co-vocalist. Along with the news of the new configuration, Linkin Park officially marked their return after a seven year pause, releasing their first single since 2017 with "The Emptiness Machine".

The track ushers in the next era of the band, heralding the announcement of a new full length studio album, From Zero - the first studio release of new material in seven years and the first to feature Armstrong on the mic along with the line up of Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell and Joe Hahn, alongside new recruits Armstrong and songwriter/producer Colin Brittain on drums.

The album is due out November 15th and and will be preceded by a slate of live shows for Linkin Park as part of the From Zero World Tour. The immediate shows will take place in six cities globally, touching down in L.A., New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul and Bogota - leading up to the release of From Zero.

Speaking on the full launch and Linkin Park reboot, Mike Shinoda explained of the album title, "Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future — embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
