Last year NYHC pillar Lou Koller of Sick of It All revealed that he had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Following extensive treatments and months of recovery, this spring, Koller again updated the community by sharing the positive update that he was cancer-free. The May update offered some light at the end of the tunnel, with hopes that eventually Koller would be healthy enough to return to the stage.
Taking to Sick of It All's social media platform on September 30th, Koller has announced that while he progress was initially trending in the right direction, he is now facing another setback with the news that the cancer has returned. In a video update, Koller explained that the update wasn't one he would have liked to make, but took the time to keep things positive all while thanking the fans for their continuing support.
