Marking it's 10th year with more than 150,000 attendees, Louder Than Life further solidified itself as one of heavy music's most important domestic festivals with their 2024 edition.
Despite weather conditions that forced festival organizers to cancel the Friday programming, the four day rager in Louisville proved to be a resounding success. In an effort to make up for the disruption caused by Hurricane Helene, the team at Danny Wimmer Presents are giving fans plenty of reason to feel better about the cancellation.
While weather would ultimately get the better of Louder Than Life and caused the September 27th line-up to halt for the day, Danny WImmer is bringing back the 2024 top line for a second go round in 2025. Slayer has been confirmed for the 2025 edition of Louder Than Life in an effort to get back the proper celebration of one thrash metal's most influential, enduring bands.
“We can’t wait to welcome fans back to finish what we started this year and celebrate the return of Slayer,” says Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents. “Our team is hard at work finalizing an incredible lineup that we can’t wait to reveal this winter. It’s going to be epic, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in Louisville next September.”
Additionally, Danny WImmer Presents has announced that Single-Day Friday pass holders from 2024 can receive a full refund, or a credit applied to the purchase of 2025 passes. Weekend pass holders can receive a 25% refund or a credit applied to the purchase of 2025 passes. Fans will receive emails with all the details, including how to claim their offer.
