Set to celebrate their 10th anniversary, Louisville's heavy music destination in Louder Than Life with mark 10 years of record-breaking hard rock revelry this weekend.
The team at Danny WImmer Presents will takeover the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky on September 26, 27, 28 and 29 for a epic assembly of some of rock music's biggest and best - spanning multiple stage and more than 150 artists over four days.
To better commemorate such a momentous occasion, Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg will join Danny Wimmer on-stage at Louder Than Life September 26 at 6:10 PM. The two will reenact the ceremonial “Christening” of the stage dating back to the very first Louder Than Life in 2014. The updated “Christening” will include the same ceremonial breaking of a guitar and bourbon bottle, only this time accompanied by flyover jets - how's that for spectacle?
Ahead of the start of the festivities, the Louder Than Life team has compiled a highlight reel of the Top 10 moments in the festival's history. From anniversary sets from Metallica to impromptu Spongebob tributes from Corey Taylor to an onstage marriage proposal during Avenged Sevenfold, the collection of memorable moments showcases just how special LTL has become and how it has become a cherished annual tradition.
