Enduring Bay Area metallic powerhouse Machine Head has announced their eleventh studio album, Unatøned. The album is set to arrive April 25th via Nuclear Blast Records.

Taking on the production of the album, the inimitable Robb Flynn led the charge, working with collaborator Zack Ohren to share the oversight and handle the engineering. Recorded from the timespan of July 2023 into December of last year, Unatøned was a byproduct of Machine Head's triumphant return to worldwide touring and the mainstages of the international festival circuit - a run the band had paused from for more than a decade. 

Rejuvenated by the charge of performing in front of thousands of fans across stages the world over, Flynn and Machine Head captured attempted to bottle that lightning on all twelve tracks of the band's latest full length studio effort. 

In an effort to properly convey that energy and explosiveness that defines Machine Head live, the band teamed with director Mike Sloat for the music video for the album's introductory single, "Unbøund". Underscoring the band's live command with stylized performance footage, the clip asserts Machine Head, more than three decades into their career, remain among heavy music's elite. 

Ahead of the release of the album, Machine Head is due to begin their massive North American headlining tour with support from special guests, In Flames, Lacuna Coil and Unearth. The run begins April 5th with a hometown showcase in Oakland, CA and closes in Canada with a final stop in Kelowna, BC on May 10th. Machine Head will also make the trip across the pond for a special headlining set at Bloodstock Open Air this August./
