Florida rock music progressives Magnolia Park, still ascending from the acclaim of their 2025 anime/horror-inspired full length hybrid, VAMP, have already issued new music asserting a productive creative pace.
"Chasing Shadows" continues the storyline developed throughout VAMP, framing the narrative of tragic loss and enduring spirit with the epic's protagonist, Aurora XI. Pairing catchy melodies, massive hooks and contrasting electronics and guitars, the track underscores Magnolia Park's varied attack and imaginative approach to rock music.
““Chasing Shadows” deals with feeling unworthy of love and the torment of losing someone close to you,” the band explains. “We wanted to write a song about how Aurora feels after losing her sister Ophelia in the battle against the Shadow Cult.”
Adding to the band's upcoming touring itinerary that includes a run of Australia supporting BABYMETAL in March as well as several festival appearances throughout Europe next season, in addition to the band's UK run set for next month, Magnolia Park have lined up the Nights After VAMP tour across North American next spring. The tour begins April 2nd in Houston, TX and closes out with a play at Sonic Temple on May 14th at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH.
Set to join Magnolia Park on the tour, ATL party-starters Silly Goose have been confirmed as well as PINKNOISE and emerging prospects Downswing.
