On the eve of the 13th full length studio album from tribal metal trailblazers Soulfly, news of a 2025 tour has hit the line. The Favela Dystopia 2025 Tour celebrates the arrival of Chama, the new album from Soulfly and will feature Max Cavalera working overtime, fronting Soulfly and manning his post with Go Ahead and Die. 

The tour begins November 1st in Roswell, NM and wraps with a finale in the Cavalera's second home of Arizona, with a play in Flagstaff on November 23rd. Cavalera shared his enthusiasm to hit the road and perform with both bands. "I’m thrilled to be doing double duty with Soulfly and Go Ahead And Die on the road together. The raw power of GAAD combined with the tribal fury of Soulfly is going to be lethal! Enter the pit at your own risk!"

The latest from Soulfly in Chama serves as the band's landmark 13th full length studio release and follow 2022's acclaimed LP, Totem. Further cementing the Cavalera family legacy, Max joins forces with sons Zyon and Igor Amadeus along guitarist Mike De Leon in what amounts to a mighty return to form. 

Chama was produced by Zyon Cavalera and longtime friend and collaborator, Arthur Rizk. Along with the existing Soulfly personnel, the album also features guest assists from veteran guitarist Dino Cazares of Fear Factory and Todd Jones of NAILS The release is due out October 24th via Nuclear Blast Records. 

Drummer and producer Zyon Cavalera discussed his perspective on the project and reflected on his evolving role within the band. “With each Soulfly record I’ve played on, I can feel my evolution happening in real time. This record was no different as I got to handle a good amount of the production for the first time. Trying to take the band to places we have never been before was a blast and I look forward to more production work in the future!”
