The revival of the storied Milwaukee Metal Fest continues as festival organizers have shared the first wave of confirmed bands for the 2027 installment. Taking over The Rave/Eagles Club May 14th through the 16th, the fest brings together an epic roster spanning the full landscape of heavy music. 

The 2026 edition of Milwaukee Metal Fest proved one of the most important events of the year with featured sets from Acid Bath, Killswitch Engage, Ministry, Obituary, Napalm Death, Suicidal Tendencies, Machine Head, Power Trip and many more.

Among the first bands set for 2027, Swedish titans Meshuggah will mark their 40th anniversary with a headlining appearance at MMF. NOLA sludge heroes Crowbar have also been confirmed along with thrash music pillars Testament. 

Doom metal champions YOB will make an appearance at Milwaukee Metal Fest along with grindcore veterans Pig Destroyer and deathgrind stalwarts, Repulsion. Along with the first wave of confirmed bands, tickets for Milwaukee Metal Fest will go live starting October 30th at CDT.
