Sweden's heavy, polyrhythmic masters in Meshuggah have unveiled plans to commemorate the band's 40th anniversary with an expansive North American tour. Coined The Forty Year Anomaly, Meshuggah will embark on a lengthy run of the United States and Canada for a headlining trek spanning two legs. The run will begin in Toronto on February 12th and charge through March 6th with a play in Boston. The run resumes on April 15th in Vancouver, extending through May 14th where the band will appear at Milwaukee Metal Fest.
In addition to the important milestone of the tour and the career spanning setlist, the 40th anniversary festivities will also feature an impressive supporting roster that spans generations. Thrash pillars Testament have been confirmed as direct support on the run with death metal mystics Blood Incantation completing one of heavy music's most dynamic bills of the coming year.
Tickets to see Meshuggah live on The Forty Year Anomaly Tour will go on sale October 30th at 10am local time. Ahead of the general on sale, KNOTFEST.com will host an exclusive pre-sale event. KNOTFEST.com readers will have access to pre-sale tickets starting October 29th at 10am local time until 10pm local time using a special pre-sale code.
