There are few bands in the game asserting the kind of versatility of Militarie Gun. Having recently debuted Gun Under The Gun (MFG),” a track created for the new Post Malone’s playable wrestling character in the latest update for WWE 2K24 - the band is now delivering their first offering of new music since their celebrated debut full length of last year, Life Under The Gun.
Teaming with Zachary Dawes (Lana Del Rey, Sharon van Etten, Bully, Elton John), Ian Shelton's prowess as a powerful songwriter continues to be on full display with another installment that showcases depth beyond his years. The track was premiered via Zane Lowe's New Music Daily and arrives with a chic music video helmed by Ben Ezra.
The track arrives as the band prepare for a celebratory hometown set next week with a headlining play at the El Rey of Los Angeles with support from Gouge Away, Heart to Gold, and Human Garbage. This follows the band's recent run Down Under, having triumphantly trekked Australia with Hockey Dad.
Militarie Gun continue on what has been a career year. The band is confirmed to appear at several fesrtivals including Lollapalooza, Project Pabst, Thing Festival, Reading & Leeds, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, and more.
Militarie Gun will then embark on a European tour with sharing the stage with the likes of Lip Critic, Pluto The Racer, Never Yours, Chiefland, daysdaysdays, and Tripsun on select dates.
