The celebrated extreme music label will now operate under the MNRK Heavy umbrella.

MNRK Music Group has announced they have acquired extreme music authority Prosthetic Records. The label was founded in 1998 and was home to widely celerbated and influential bands, Lamb of God, The Acacia Strain, Septicflesh, Venom Prison, and many more.

MNRK Music Group's SVP of Rock & Metal Scott Givens spoke on the deal, "Prosthetic Records has been a trailblazer in the metal scene. This acquisition is a strategic step in MNRK’s continued investment in heavy music and aligns perfectly with our vision for MNRK Heavy.”

Among the first releases scheduled to launch via the new expanded roster include albums from mathcore sensation Pupil Slicer and Irish post metal collective, God Alone.

As for the future of Prothetic Records, MNRK Heavy plans to launch anniversary reissues, remastered editions, and curated collections that span the label's definitive discography.
