Party thrash veterans Municipal Waste have confirmed their return to the UK with the announcement of a fall headlining run starting in October. The 13-date stretch will see the band touch down in important markets including London, Manchester, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham to name a few.
Joining the Richmond outfit is the powerful one-two of emerging metallic hardcore collective GEL and the new school death metal unit of Undeath.
Municipal Waste frontman Tony Foresta shared his stoke on the run of shows. “Its been way too long since The Waste has done a proper UK headliner. To say we are excited is an understatement. We couldn't even wait till after Download to tell everyone. We are equally as chuffed to bring a diverse and crushing duo of openers Gel and Undeath. If anyone knows how we can get a Buckfast sponsorship for this please reach out. CHEERS!”
The announcement hits as the band preps to perform at Download Uk this weekend, kicking off a European run that includes sets at Hellfest in France and Tons of Rock in Oslo, Norway. The band is currently trekking in support of their 2022 Nuclear Blast Records full length, Electrified Brain.
Tickets will go on general sale Wednesday 14th June @ 10am BST.
