Industrial metal pioneers Godflesh have released one of their most robust albums to date. Many bands with careers that span decades either grow complacent or distracted as time goes on. Godflesh is more focused than ever on Purge, the sister album to 1992’s Pure. They bring the concepts explored on Pure into 2023 and have crafted an incredibly thought-provoking release.
