Nine Inch Nails Announce New Festival, Future Ruins

Danny Elfman, John Carpenter, Mark Mothersbaugh, Terence Blanchard, Questlove and more will lead reimagined performance of their music for film and television with festival-scaled production in front of a live audience.

Nine Inch Nails are returning to the festival circuit only this time, they are functioning as both the headliners and curators. Unveiling Future Ruins, Nine Inch Nails will lead an exemplary field of renowned film and television composers for a festival-scaled showcase considered the first of it's kind. 

Future Ruins will take place November 8th at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and touts a line-up of celebrated composers that are all regarded as headliners in their own right. Among the field of composers recruited for the inaugural Future Ruins, include the following:

Future Ruins will also feature a performance of Howard Shore's score of the David Cronenberg film, Crash. The festival explains that each artist is encouraged to reimagine their work with electronic sets, live bands and orchestral performances all in play as possibilities.
