The SoCal fest showcases a generational, multi-genre line-up of women in music and will donate net proceeds to non-profit organizations advocating for women and girls.

On the heels of her recent full length release, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, in addition to the unveiling of her Unraveled tour which includes consecutive nights in cities across the U.S. and Europe, Olivia Rodrigo continues to make strong movies.

Her latest effort turns to festival curation, leading an epic multi-generational, multi-genre line-up with the announcement of her own, Daisy Chain Fields. Set for August 29th in Irvine , CA., the identity of the festival celebrates females across a broad spectrum of subgenre - with both legends and emerging voices sharing the same billing.

Among the iconic names featured at Daisy Chain Fields, the special guests include the likes of Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sarah McLachlan and the inimitable, Stevie Nicks. Punk pioneers Bikini Kill have been confirmed along with Rodrigo collaborator, Chappell Roan.

Kim Deal and The Breeders will perform along with a set from Shirley Manson and Garbage. Daisy Chain Fields will also feature performances from Doechii, Santigold, Katseye and Mitski along with new blood like Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri and the surging Die Spitz- showcasing an incendiary assembly of both artistry and diversity.

Along with the announcement of the festival, the banner's mission statement spoke to the intention of the event and the greater purpose in bringing such a array of artists together. The statement also noted that all het proceeds from the event wlll go towards non-profit organizations that support women and girls.

“Daisy Chain Fields is a music festival founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change. It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring drivers of progress and social change. It's a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength, and action.

The festival celebrates the voices, artistry, and contributions of women in music, fostering an inclusive environment in which all are welcome. Daisy Chain offers more than live performances; it provides opportunities for education, dialogue, and engagement around issues affecting women and girls in the United States and globally. Through partnerships and on-site resources, the festival seeks to ensure that girls and young people have access to information and support they may not otherwise know how to find, and real-life interactions with women and girls who are bright lights in our world.

Net proceeds from the festival are directed toward nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. Beyond its philanthropic impact, Daisy Chain’s core purpose is to cultivate joy and shared understanding, creating space for meaningful moments of connection across generations and communities.

Daisies are wild and beautiful. As a chain, they are strong and unbreakable.”
