Swedish melodeath juggernauts Orbit Culture have issued an emphatic show of musical force with the release of a new music video for "Nuclear God". The track is featured on the band's pending deluxe edition of their universally-acclaimed LP, Death Above Life, which arrives October 9th.
Initially released as part of a regional release of the album, the track is now prominently showcased as part of the pending wider release. As for the music video, the performance footage sourced from the band's recent touring run, which presented a perfect opportunity to underscore the strength of the single.
The band explain, "'Nuclear God' was originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese edition of Death Above Life. When we started going through all the footage we had gathered from the summer festivals, we wanted to turn it into something that felt like a tribute to our fans and the community that has grown around this band. The relentless chaos of 'Nuclear God' perfectly matched those moments. Riivata took all of that footage and brought it together into the video you see today."
The deluxe edition of Death Above Life will feature four additional tracks, as well as a 40-page booklet touting images from the band's personal photo archives, ranging from live shots to behind-the-scenes moments.
Riding out in support of the deluxe edition of Death Above Life, Orbit Culture will take on a coveted supporting spot on Amon Amarth's "The Allfather Awakens" Tour this fall.
