Rock heavy, platinum-selling vets P.O.D. have confirmed the May 3rd due date of their 11th studio album, Veritas. The effort will arrive via Mascot Records and finds the band embracing their rock sensibilities, tapping into the raw energy that first introduced the band to masses. 

Frontman Sonny Sandoval spoke about the creative headspace the band was in when composting the record. "We made a conscious decision to keep it in the rock zone this time," says Sandoval, as evidenced by previously released singles like "Drop" featuring Randy Blythe from Lamb of God and "Afraid to Die" featuring Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer. 

Along with confirmation of the pending full length, P.O.D. have shared a third single from the album with the unveiling of "I Won't Bow Down" - an anthemic, defiant cut that encompasses the stylistic mesh signature to the band. 

Veritas marks the first P.O.D. release in five years, following the acclaim of 2018's Circles. Written over the course of a few years, the album marks not only an important milestone, but underscores the continued creative drive of the collective. 

"We're still here and we're still creating some of the best music we've ever made," says guitarist Marcos Curiel. "When it comes to heart, grit and soul, P.O.D. is your band," shares Sandoval, "We're always still proving who we are — always having that punk-rock mentality."

Emphasizing the stylistic diversity of the band, drummer Trae Daniels explained how Veritas already has a special place in his heart and how it is definitive P.O.D. "This will most likely be one of my favorite P.O.D. records. There are some songs on this record that are so different from one another, but still have that P.O.D. So Cal flavor."

Along with the arrival of the new record, P.O.D. have been confirmed for a handful of domestic and international dates including festival plays at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple in the U.S. A list of confirmed dates can be found below with more in expected to be announced soon.
