Last month, Long Island hardcore champs Pain of Truth confirmed their Will Putney-produced sophomore self-titled album. Arriving September 25th via Daze, the 11-track presentation combines generations of hardcore lineage into one bulldozing effort.

Beginning the charge towards the album release, Pain of Truth shared the volatile lead single, "Unforgiven". Touting furious guitars and the command of vocalist Michael Brian Smith, the track sets the tone for what looks to be Pain of Truth's most focused, ferocious collection of songs to date.

In support of the self-titled LP, Pain of Truth has also confirmed a sprawling run of headlining tour dates, marking the arrival of the new album. The comprehensive tour begins October 14th in Montreal, QC and spans some 31-dates where the trek concludes with a no barricade event at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, NY on November 21st. 

The tour also includes a deep rotation of support spanning legends to emerging forces. Among the confirmed bands taking on select dates of the tour, Madball, 100 Demons, Killing Time, Rotting Out, Missing Link and Shattered Realm have all committed. The tour will also feature sets from Locked Shut, Contention, Fatal Realm, Mizery, Killing Pace and xForever Warx.
