Following the band's most recent highlight showing at Sound and Fury, Oklahoma blue chips PeelingFlesh have announced the September 26th release of their new EP, PF Radio 2 via Unique Leader Records. A pulverizing meld of slam and guttural death metal, the release builds off the breakout success the band tallied with 2024's The G Code.
Commenting on the outlook for the band, vocalist Damonteal Harris offered, "This release signifies another step for us as a band. We're always evolving our sound and this release shows another level of Peeling Flesh when it comes to everything. Riffs, drums, samples, and vocals are all turned to the max and we couldn't be more stoked for the world to hear it."
Ahead of the September 26th due date, Peeling Flesh have shared the first single from the EP in "Midnight". The EP version follows the collaboration with Svdden Death, YVM3 and NIMDA with the more EDM-driven earlier this year. Leaning into the band's death metal chops and affinity for timeless hip hop samples, Ice-T's nod to Boogie Down Productions on the 1989 "Midnight" is core to the updated track.
Trekking in support of PF Radio 2, Peeling Flesh will be out on the road supporting Lorna Shore, The Black Dahlia Murder and Shadow of Intent on an extensive North American tour throughout the fall. The tour kicks off September 17th in Pittsburgh, PA and wraps in New York on October 30th. See the complete list of dates and cities below.
