Florida post-hardcore vets Poison The Well have announced plans to commemorate the 25th anniversary of their seminal late 1999 release, The Opposite of December... A Season of Separation, with an anniversary tour set for Spring 2025. The band will set out on a monthlong trek in honor of the 25th anniversary of the landmark record and will perform it in its entirety on each stop of the tour.
The run also marks the band's first official tour in more than 15 years.
Adding to the significance of the curated set, Poison The Well has also enlisted a stellar line-up of support that spans generations and genre. Hardcore outliers Glassjaw will join the campaign along with the Dillinger/ETID amalgam of Better Lovers with heavy shoegazers Teenage Wrist set to open each night.
The anniversary trek is set to kick off April 4th at The Palladium in Los Angeles and wrap with a finale in Toronto, ON on April 29th.
"For me, The Opposite of December... represents everything I absorbed as a teenager: the shows, the music, the raw energy of hardcore and punk. I never imagined that record would still resonate 25 years later. Seeing people continue to connect with it inspires me every day, and I'm so grateful for the opportunities this band has given me," says singer Jeff Moreira.
