Last month, punk, rock and cinema icon Rob Zombie confirmed the February 27th arrival of his eighth full length studio album via Nuclear Blast Records, The Great Satan. Along with the news of the long-awaited follow-up to 2021's The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, Zombie issued a forceful introduction with the scorching lead single, "Punks and Demons".
Ushering in the modern era of the Zombie-verse, The Great Satan is a return to form with the horror punk visionary tapping into his Hellbilly roots - merging punk DNA, cinematic slaughterhouse vision and unrelenting heavy rock fury. Doubling down on that mission, Zombie has delivered another heater with follow-up single, "Heathen Days".
Coupled with a no frills, rehearsal space performance video, Zombie skips the theatrics and delivers a blistering 2-minute ride reminiscent of his celebrated turbo-charged early work at the helm of White Zombie. This is arguably the most stripped down Zombie has been in years and remains as forceful as ever.
