Saosin Debut First new Single In More Than a Decade, “Starting Over Again”

The track marks the band's debut on Sumerian Records and the first offering from the current configuration with guitarist Phil Sgrosso and returning vocalist, Cove Reber.

Submitting their first offering of new music in over a decade, post-hardcore vets Saosin have announced their signing to Sumerian Records with the reveal of "Starting Over Again."

The charging return to form features the band's most current configuration, with returning vocalist Cove Reber who lead the band's first two full length entries. The track also marks the first major submission from guitarist Phil Sgrosso, despite his tenure with the band dating back to 2016. Along with guitarist Beau Burchell, the tandem helmed the production of the track, giving the band complete control for their emphatic return. 

“‘Starting Over Again’ is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realizing the timing finally felt right. The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked,” the band issued in a collective statement.

“This song is exactly what the title says. A reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward.”

 

Along with the arrival of new music and the news of the band's alignment with Sumerian Records, Saosin is set to take on live dates across Australia, Southeast Asia, and the UK, as well as confirmed appearances for major festivals including Slam Dunk, the Vans Warped Tour and Aftershock this fall in Sacramento, CA.
