Steel city brutalizers Signs of the Swarm have released an electrifying live rendition of the title track of their hailed 2023 full length, "Amongst the Low & Empty". Recorded live during the band's appearance at Whitechapel's 2023 annual Christmas show, the audio fine-tuned by producer Josh Schroeder whose resume includes the likes of Lorna Shore and Varials to list a few. 

The arrival of the live track offers a punishing preview of the pending onslaught set to unfold as the band sets out for an important North American headlining tour later this month. Flanked by an impressive roster of emerging names in extreme music, the tour is bolstered by Cane Hill, Ov Sulfur, 156/Silence and A Wake In Providence. Apart from the caliber of artists on the run, the tour asserts a real diversity in heavy music that speaks to the current health of the scene. 

Speaking of the decision to revisit the 2023 title track, the band's run of live shows ha sonly served to strengthen the impact of the track. Given the response, it seemed obvious the band needed to showcase how the song has become something bigger. "We wanted to capture the energy of 'Amongst the Low & Empty' from the stage and bring it to your headphones," explains drummer Bobby Crow.

"The song has really taken on a life of its own on the road—serving as our new de facto opener and jolting the crowd with its immediate energy—all thanks to the fans. Special thanks to Whitechapel and the amazing crowd in Knoxville, TN for being part of this. And, yes, we'll be opening with it on both the 'Decade of the Swarm' North American Tour and 'Faces of Death' European Tour."

The track arrives just two weeks before the band begins their 10th year anniversary run. Kicking off August 29th at The Palladium in Worcester, MA, the tour will conclude September 28th in Lakewood, OH - but not before touching down for a hometown set in Pittsburgh, PA at Preserving Underground. 

"TEN YEARS of relentless dedication, 5 albums and nearly 1,000 performances later, we are thrilled to bring you an explosive celebration for a decade of the band's survival; our first ever proper North America headline tour will be the DECADE OF THE SWARM," explained drummer Bobby Crow.

"We are preparing a career-spanning set list and top notch production alongside some of our best friends that we've made over the years."
