The wait is over.
Russian metallic powerhouse Slaughter to Prevail have confirmed the July 18th release of their next full length album in the appropriately titled, Grizzly. The album will arrive via Sumerian Records and features the previously released smash singles in “Conflict,” “Viking,” “1984,” “Behelit,” and “Kid of Darkness,” - entries which have propelled the band in becoming one of extreme music's most streamed artists in the modern era.
Along with the announcement of the release date for the album, Slaughter to Prevail have also issued a brand new music video for the latest single from the effort, "Russian Grizzly in America." The raucous, relentless track showcases the band's visceral DNA and spotlights a gigantic grizzly bear, paling around Los Angeles with frontman Alex Terrible as the two find a balance between domestication and destruction.
The music video features explosive live footage of the band taking over the famed Whisky A Go-Go and other Hollywood landmarks and features a special cameo from UFC heavyweight contender, Alexander Volkov.
Speaking on the confirmation of the new album, frontman Alex Terrible explained how Grizzly is set ot be a defining achievement for the band.
“I think this is the best album we have ever written. We put so much effort into it. We spent a lot of time on every detail and really poured our souls into the songs. In the past, we were always rushing to finish albums and just releasing whatever we had. This time, we took our time, worked carefully on each track, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Hopefully it was all worth it.”
In addition to the release of Grizzly, Slaughter To Prevail is a featured artist on several important US festivals this season. Performing at Vans Warped Tour, Inkcarceration, Louder Than Life and Aftershock, the Russian collective continues their conquest of the heavy music scene, one show at a time.
