TikTok strikes again.
Acknowledging the current virality of their first-ever, laptop-generated recording, Sleeping With Sirens is taking it back to 2009 with a refreshed edition of “I’m Coming Home (Big Gulps).” The first song ever written by Sleeping With Sirens and the first video ever posted to the band’s YouTube channel in 2009, the track has found new life in the era of social media and the band saw the opportunity to give it the sheen it deserves.
“Big Gulps was the very first Sleeping With Sirens song ever written, so it’s pretty amazing to see our fans digging through our old content on YouTube and watching it take off on TikTok,” said frontman Kellin Quinn.
“That said, the original recording was literally recorded on a MacBook back in 2009. So, I wanted to get back into the studio and properly rerecord a new acoustic version of the song. Thank you for being such incredible fans for so long and we hope you enjoy this new version of Big Gulps.”
Riding out in support of their well-received, Will Yip-produced LP, An Ending In Itself, Sleeping With Sirens begin their fall headlining tour next month, kicking the run off with an appearance at Aftershock Festival. The U.S./Canadian trek will fetaure support from Rain City Drive and Shyeye, wrapping with a finale in Orlando for the Vans Warped Tour.
Sleeping With Sirens then take on Latin America to close out the calendar year before a brief reset and a relaunch with a headlining trek of Europe/UK headliner in the first quarter of 2027. A current list of dates and cities can be found below. Get tickets - HERE
