Making good on the promise to return to the region following the postponement of Knotfest Brazil last year, Slipknot announced their long-awaited performance was offcially set for Sao Paulo on October 19th and 20th at the top of this year.

The band was set to touch down in Brazil in October of 2023, but organizers ultimately were forced to push back the event. Rather than discourage the fans, the push has only served to build the anticipation for what will be a global happening in the space of heavy culture.

For Slipknot's return to Sao Paulo, the band will headline consecutive nights under the Knotfest Brazil banner and have confirmed they will be performing two unique sets, commemorating the band's Silver anniversary. Adding to the significance of the two-day event, Slipknot has now confirmed the bands making the trek to Brazil in support and the roster is gargantuan.

Among the heavy hitters confirmed for Knotfest Brazil, day one will see sets from the likes of Mudvayne, viking metal lords Amon Amarth, Meshuggah, Dragonforce, Swedish powerhouse Orbit Culture and more. Day Two will include supporting sets from Bad Omens, Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann, Japanese genre-smashers Babymetal, nu-metal vets P.O.D. and more.

Among the Brazilian contingent strongly represented on the bill, thrash crossover outfits Ratos de Porão and Black Pantera will perform along with death metal legends Krisiun have also been confirmed for the festival.

Slipknot's highly anticipated return adds to an especially significant year of touring. Slipknot will mark the 25th anniversary of their 1999 debut with a succession of performances on their Bring the Pain Tour of North America as well as Europe and the UK later this year. Now, the band has added Brazil on to their list of destinations designated for the landmark celebration.

Knotfest Brazil is set for October 19th and 20th at Allianz Parque, São Paulo. Stay tuned for additional announcements regarding Knotfest Brazil. Get tickets and additional info - HERE
