Successfully launching the start of festival season for the team at Danny Wimmer Presents, this spring's Sonic Temple in Columbus, OH drew some serious staggering numbers.
With 175,000 rock, metal and hardcore fans passing through the gates, the festival's footprint of four stages saw highlight sets from Metallica, Linkin Park and KORN - leading a field of 100 artists spanning the spectrum of heavy music.
Firming plans to roar back bigger and better in 2026, Sonic Temple has already set May 14th-17th as the start of next festival season and have already set in motion a plan to level things up in a big way.
The 2026 edition of the metal music weekender at Historic Crew Stadium will now feature a fifth stage, increasing the footprint of one of the fastest-growing, most-anticipated rock music events of the year. Adding to the already massive line-up touting 100 artists, the 2026 installment of Sonic Temple will now be able to accommodate another 30 bands making Columbus an important global destination for rock music fans the world over.
