Fresh off their North American trek supporting Knocked Loose on their sold out, cross country headliner, Aussie hardcore collective SPEED have shared the third and final single from their forthcoming full length debut, Only One Mode.

Following previously dropped cuts in "Real Life Love" and "The First Test", SPEED continues to vcarry the torch for modern hardcore - trumpeting the culture and community that nurtures their distinct brand of aggression.

As for the latest, "Don't Need" offers another emphatic reassertion of self-determination, self-reliance and perseverance in the face of sometimes insurmountable odds. The band spoke of the single and elaborated on the message of the loaded track, sharing their own personal experience and immersion in the culture of hardcore.

“We've been going to hardcore shows and playing in bands for most of our lives now. When you do this long enough I guess you get a pretty good understanding of who you are, what you stand for and why you're involved. Now, somewhat suddenly we have a lot more outsiders finding out about our culture for good or for worse. We don't need you or anyone to tell us how to navigate that. Cus to us, the meaning is the same as it’s always been. We are hardcore kids in a hardcore band from Sydney, Australia.”

Speed are currently in the thick of a European stretch that will included recent appearances at Download Festival, the Flatspot World showcase in London, plus stops at Full Force Festival in Germany, Resurrection Fest in Spain and Hellfest in France.

Speed will then circle back to the US for a record release show in Los Angeles along with highly-touted appearances for the Have Heart reunion shows set for July on the East Coast.
