It has been a career year for Sydney's purveyors of Aussie hardcore in SPEED. Trekking in support of their 2024 LP, Only One Mode, the band's current run has included coveted support slots, headlining stints and major festival plays including a highlight appearance at this year's Coachella.

With a significant slate of live dates still left on the year, SPEED is just days away from beginning a North American stretch supporting Turnstile on the Never Enough tour. From there, the band will hed overseas for an EU/UK tour supporting Malevolence on the Where Only the Truth Is Spoken Tour.

Leveraging their live run, the band is seizing the opportunity to launch new music - the first since last year's victorious LP via Flatspot Records. SPEED has confirmed an October 23rd release date for their new EP, All My Angels, arriving via Flatspot Records and Last Ride Records in Australia. The band initially confirmed the launch via their socials, sharing a first glimpse at the imagery for the release.

Now, the band have officially begun the rollout for the EP with the unveiling of the first single, "Peace". Amid the triumphs that the band have tallied in recent years, All My Angels confronts the significant loss the collective has endured during that same time. Navigating incredible highs and devastating lows, "Peace" showcases SPEED as it's most reflective, working through grief while expressing the gratitude for those in their universe.

Vocalist Jem Siow explained, “Three of our close friends passed away in 18 months - but, amidst this devastation I was overcome with a deep sense of clarity and peace.  Because, despite the abyss of questions of why and how, my clearest sense of calm lay in the certainty that the time we shared and invested in one another was underpinned by unfiltered honesty and unconditional love.

Their lives were short, but I know our experiences together were lived with deep, meaningful intention, which has in turn empowered us with more meaning and purpose while we are still here.  This sense of calm and focus exists like a sharpened, refined weapon at my disposal - poised to attack life and its many hurdles with precision and intention.  And it has only been refined through the process of loss.”

SPEED begin their run on the Never Enough tour later this month with Turnstile. Additionally, SPEED Will celebrate the arrival of All My Angels with a play in Brooklyn, NY on October 25th with supporting sets from END IT and MSPaint. Later this fall, SPEED then take on Europe with a trek supporting Malevolence along with Dying Wish and Psycho-Frame. See the list of dates and cities below. Get tickets - HERE
