Widely hailed as post-hardcore visionaries, UK powerhouse Static Dress set a precedent with their 2022 debut, Rogue Carpet Disaster. Embracing a cinematic approach to their craft, the band's vision, spearheaded by multi-talent Olli Appleyard, have utilized everything from graphic novels to video games to build their expansive universe. 

Adding to the band's artistic breadth, Static Dress has announced the follow-up to Rogue Carpet Disaster with the confirmation of Injury Episode, their sophomore full length due out May 29th via Sumerian Records. First previewed with the eruptive "human props," the band's contemporary brand of artistry and aggression translated onscreen with a initial clip that showcased the band's feature film approach to their imagery. 

Now, the band have unveiled an explosive second selection for Injury Episode to properly introduce the album. Teaming with post-hardcore pillars Underoath, "Nostalgia Kills" offers worship at the altar of Define the Great Line, asserting a contemporary take on the classic sound that influenced legions of fans and bands in its wake. 

In addition to the narrative continuation of Rogue Carpet Disaster, Injury Episode marks an important first for Static Dress. Along with the arrival on Sumerian Records, the release also serves as the first collaborative project with Olli Appleyard (vocals), Vin Weight (Guitar), George Holding (Bass), and Sam Ogden (Drums) each submitting their wn distinct contribution to the enormity and musical scope of the album. 

Ahead of the arrival of Injury Episode, Static Dress will trek to Australia for a run of live dates supporting Loathe followed by a highly-anticipated appearance at Slam Dunk in May.
