Last month, metallic hardcore vets Stray From the Path surprised fans and the heavy music community by releasing their full length studio album, Clockworked, with no rollout. The unexpected arrival of the album also bookended the run for the band, confirming their latest release, would be their last.
Earlier this year, the band announced their signing to SharpTone Records. While the news signaled what felt like a new era for Stray, the band released the impactful first single, "Kubrick Stare" further ramping up the excitement in what was next. Ultimately, the single would begin what was the final go round for the Long Island heroes.
Opting to go out on a high note, Stray From the Path have given fans a fitting swan song with the delivery of Clockworked as the final album from the band along with the news that after 2025, Stray From the Path will be hanging it up. Along with the confirmation, the band shared the news that they would be unveiling their farewell touring plans, to close out their run with the end of 2025.
Now, Stray From the path have set their run of final EU/UK dates and are going out in a big way. Recruiting a stellar caravan of support, Stray From the Path will cover mainlan Europe and the UK with Australian metalcore champs Alpha Wolf, UK nu-aggressors Graphic Nature and cinematic metal powerhouse, Calva Louise.
Sharing previously of the plans to celebrate Stray and punctuate their storied run, the band explained, "This is a mutual decision, there’s no bad blood, we love each other and we love you all. In the next couple weeks, we will be announcing our final tour dates, and after 2025 we will be putting the band to rest. Looking forward to celebrating the band one last time together for the rest of this year.”
The final EU/UK dates for Stray From the Path begin October 28th in Leipzig, DE and conclude November 28th in Bristol. A complete list of dates can be found below. Tickets for the final EU/UK tour for Stray From the Path go on sale June 13th at 10am local time.
