Surging death slam specialists Peeling Flesh are continuing their chareg towards the November 27th release of their self-titled full length. Following the breakout success of 2025's PF Radio 2, the Oklahoma clobbering crew are set to deliver one of the most anticipated release of the year via Unique Leader Records.
Combining a potent, pummeling blend of death metal, hardcore grit and hip hop swagger, Peeling Flesh first introduced the project last month with the bulldozing, "Murderous Intent," Enlisting Mike Ryan of Missing Link, the track sets a high bar for the band's heavy-hitting brand of brutality.
Back with another corrosive three-minute blitz, "Crackology" opens with a slick sample from Scary Movie 3 before unleashing hell in the form of shotgun loud snare drums, filthy guitars and vocalist Damonteal Harris summoning a beastly growl.
Harris said of the single, "One of our personal favorites from the album even though all of them are our favorite. A lot of insane samples that we've been wanting to use for a very long time in this one."
Speaking previously on the band's excitement in the lead up to the self-titled album, Harris added, "This has been our baby for the last year. An insane mixture of drop G and Drop F songs that are some of our favorite and craziest songs we've written to date and we're extremely stoked to get them out finally."
Among the additional collaborations featured on the release include guest appearances from Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg, Bridget Lynch of Stabbing, Extermination Dismemberment, JayWay and Mike Ryan of Missing Link
Peeling Flesh begin their fall U.S. headlining tour this week. Along with support from Grounds For Assault, Snuffed On Sight, Mongrel, Gridiron, Outta Pocket, Fatal Realm, Final Resting Place and Two-Piece. A current list of dates and cities can be found below.
