Set to return to majestic backdrop of the Red Eagle Campground of Blackfeet Nation, MT, the unique open-air congregation of Fire In the Mountains takesa place July 23rd through the 26th. The immersive, open-air music and cultural destination pairs the stunning landscape with extreme music and indigenous reverence, offering a one-of-a-kind festival experience that emphasizes the connection between community and shared land.
Having already confirmed a brilliantly curated core with performances from Enslaved, Baroness, YOB and exclusive U.S. appearances from Borknagar and Gallowbraid, the excitement for the 2026 installment of the festival had already began to ramp up. Now, organizers have unveiled a third wave of confirmed artists, announcing some added heavyweights and rare showings that are specific to Fire In the Mountains.
Among the latest set for the festival, Fire In the Mountains 2026 will feature the long-awaited reunion performance from SubRosa, as well as a 2026 exclusive performance from Full of Hell presented by Firekeeper Alliance. Navajo/Diné composer Raven Chacon will join the iconic Iggor Cavalera for a special collaborative performance, along with sets from Old Man Gloom, Yaotl Mictlan, Savage Oath, El Welk.
Among the standouts on the bill, Fire In the Mountains 2026 will also showcase performances from Japanese experimental legends SIGH, purveyor of Heaven Metal Madeline Johnston as MIDWIFE and Denver's black metal Americana goths in Wayfarer just to list a few.
