Among hardcore's current wave championing the sound, California standouts Sunami (currently crushing as part of the Knotfest Australia festivities) have teamed with NY collective Pain of Truth to debut a surprise split EP.
Coast to Coast showcases the swagger and sledgehammer delivery of Sunami, paired with the power and pedigree of New York's new blood in Pain of Truth. Along with the release which is a collaborative release between respected labels in DAZE and Triple B Records, the Coast to Coast EP arrives with the news of co-headlining spring tour which will feature both bands atop the bill, along with support from Haywire and Peeling Flesh.
Choosing to articulate his intentions clearly and set the expectations from the jump, Michael Smith from Pain of Truth shared of the latest announcement. “This split is gonna fuck you up. This tour is gonna fuck you up... again.”
The trek is set to kick off late next month when both Sunami and Pain of Truth join up for an appearance at RBS Fest in San Jose, CA. The trek continues into May and concludes with both bands making their play at Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL on May 18th.
