Late last year, progressive metal stalwarts Sylosis delivered The Path EP to universal acclaim. The release served as the follow-up to the band's 2023 full length, A Sign of Things to Come, an album that saw the band's own Josh Middleton further embrace his role as producer. 

Given the response to The Path, Sylosis continue to charge forward as one of the UK's leading forces in modern heavy music. Due to begin a run of live dates throughout Europe this month, the band have opted to revisit the magnitude of The Path, by releasing a new music video for the walloping track, "Soured Ground". 

The release of the music video also signals the special physical release of The Path with the news of a limited vinyl release of the EP which is now available while supplies last. Initially released only as a digital EP, The Path proved to important for the band to go without giving it the physical media treatment. 

The band explained, "Following the success of The Path, it was clear that we had to immortalise these songs on some form of physical media. We knew the songs were strong, but did not expect them to connect with people the way that have."

They added, "In light of this, we have a very limited pressing of the EP in coke bottle green with custom etching. The finished product is stunning and we can't wait to share it with you. To further celebrate the release, we shot a new video for the song 'Soured Ground'. This was the obvious choice for the video after seeing all the fan feedback. We have a limited number of signed vinyl available on our webstore and on tour in Europe this month. Be sure to grab yourself a copy, and we'll see you on the road."

Sylosis are set to begin a month of festival appearances and club shows across Europe. The band will perform at Download, Cophenhell and Graspop among others this month, along with a couple of headlining shows and a pair of plays supporting In Flames. See the list of tour dates below.
