Proving all too practical with their latest announcement of summering touring plans, The Acacia Strain have confirmed a 2026 summer run that both commemorates both the 20th anniversary of the Adam D.-produced album, The Dead Walk, and supports the band's most recent effort, You Are Safe From God Here.
The end result, "You Are Safe From the Dead Walk Here" summer tour across the United States. The run will begin June 4th in Harrisburg, PA and close out June 20th in Des Moines, IA. Set to join The Acacia Strain on the run, ATL heavy-eccentrics The Callous Dapboys fresh off the reveal of their chaotic new single, "Gigantic Parasite Tongue" will serve as direct support. The tour will also feature opening sets with FromJoy and MASK taking on opening duties.
The Acacia Strain frontman Vincent Bennett spoke honestly about the band's upcoming plans.
"THE DEAD WALK IS 20.YOU ARE SAFE FROM GOD HERE ISN'T EVEN A YEAR OLD YET. NO WAY WE ARE PLAYING EVERY SONG OFF A 20-YEAR-OLD RECORD WHEN WE JUST CAME OUT WITH A NEW ONE. THE BEST WE CAN DO IS LIKE 5 OR 6 SONGS — TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. THE DEAD WALK SONGS. YOU ARE SAFE FROM GOD HERE SONGS. CALLOUS DAOBOYS SONGS — DURING THEIR SET ONLY. PLUS FROMJOY AND MASK ARE GOING TO BE THERE. INTIMATE VENUES. LIMITED BARRICADES. COME COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW WE DIDN'T PLAY THE ONE SONG YOU REALLY WANTED TO HEAR."
