Rock music icons The Cult have announced a special West Coast run of shows with post-punk, dark wave specialists Cold Cave. The 13-date tour spans the month of October and concludes with with back-to-back nights in Las Vegas at The Pearl at The Palms Hotel & Casino.
The tour begins with The Cult's confirmed set in Sacramento for finale of the rock music festival season at Aftershock on October 8th. The truncated tour unofficially marks four decades for the rock music pillars.
“We are thrilled to announce these shows,” pioneering frontman Ian Astbury said. “As we close the circle from ’83 to ’23, we are entering into this moment to celebrate with you all, what has been, and shall continue to be, The Cult’s continuing legacy.”
The Under the Midnight Sun Tour begins the initial phase next month as The Cult is confirmed for a trio of dates in Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin - closing out the weekender with a set at Harley-Davidson's Homecoming Festival on July 14th. The band will join the likes of Foo Fighters, Green Day, Joan Jett, Cody Jinks, Kennyhoopla and more to the 120th anniversary of the motorcycle institution.
