What began last year with the release of the single, 'Ritual" followed by the spring anthem that arrived earlier this year in "For You" has now ushered in the confirmation of the ninth full length album from The Devil Wears Prada, Flowers.

The announcement follows the band's recent triumph as a core contributor to the Summer of Loud tour that boasted sets from I Prevail, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage and Beartooth. Delivering highlight sets on each night of the tour, The Devil Wears Prada continued to assert their rank as one of post-hardcore's hardest-working, ever-evolving units.

Along with the news of the November 14th release via Solid State Records, The Devil Wears Prada have shared a double single to officially begins the album rollout with  "Where the Flowers Never Grow" and "Wave." The powerful, poignant performance underscores the band's expanding  songwriting capacity, combined with their always articulate approach to aggressive music.

Jeremy DePoyster offered some perspective on the titular track. "'Where The Flowers Never Grow' is a song about the realization that no matter how good things get from the outside, there is a still a place of darkness in our minds… the place where flowers never grow," says DePoyster.

"The hours spent away from the stage and the bright lights can be a lonely place. The lyrics are a reckoning with how you can receive everything you thought you wanted, but you still have to reckon with the intrusive thoughts of emptiness and old wounds that you’re trying to find a way to heal. My hope is that anyone who hears the song feels seen, that they’re not alone in the darkest corners of their mind, and that we’re all trying to find a way forward."

Asserting the ambitious scope of TDWP, the band have shared a short film, That Same Place Where The Flowers Never Grow, introducing the new music and the upcoming album.

Going onto share his thoughts on the album, DePoyster explained how the latest full length is indicative of TDWP at full strength - an album that reflects the notion of life imitating art. "Flowers is 20 years into a journey. The highs, the lows, a reckoning with what it means be a human catapulting through the chaos that life throws at us continually. This is us at our peak, in songwriting, in raw and authentic lyricism and introspection, and a desperate attempt to connect with anyone else who feels the same way that we do."

Adding to their rep as one of hardest working bands in the space, TDWP have a healthy amount of international tour dates, including stops in Australia with Bullet For My Valentine, headlining dats in South Africa and a European run with Ice Nine Kills and Creeper. TDWP will also appear at Warped Tour in Orlando on November 15-16. Get a list of dates and cities - HERE
