The Devil Wears Prada Debut Emotive New Single, "For You"

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

The metalcore stalwarts deliver a ballad as only they can as the band prepares to begin a lengthy run of touring through the summer.

Among the most respected and prolific pushers of the metalcore scene, The Devil Wears Prada have earned a rep for reinvention. Consistently delivering music that keeps fans guessing, the band has managed to make good on that M.O. once more with the unveiling of their latest standalone single, "For You."

The ballad features a convincing vocal performance from Jeremy DePoyster and Mike Hranica, as the track works up from a slow build to a massive breakdown. Fueled by the emotional charge of a love that is destined to fail, the thematic weight of the track and layered composition make for a end result that is both thrilling and anthemic.

The band frames the track as, "A love story unraveling through the eyes of someone hopelessly devoted to a partner who can never truly give back. It's the sound of desperation meeting blind loyalty — a crushing, cinematic anthem for the heartbroken. This is The Devil Wears Prada at our most expansive, with our biggest chorus to date and a fearless step into the next evolution of our sound. We're not just pushing boundaries—we're redefining them."

"For You" lands as TDWP are set to begin their Metalcore Spring Break Tour kicks on the very same day as the release. Starting out tonight, April 17, in Wichita, KS., the run features support from ERRA, Kingdom of Giants and Acres.  Along with routed stops at Sonic Temple in Ohio and Welcome to Rockville in Florida on the itinerary, TDWP wrap their run May 14 in Charleston, SC.

From there, TDWP indulge little down time, taking on another run in one of the summer's most anticipated bills.
