The annual curation of psychedelic, metal, punk, indie, shoegaze and beyond in Austin's Levitation has announced their four-day line-up set for October 31st through November 3rd later this year.
Taking over several venues across the city in Austin’s Red River District and East Side venues, Levitation boasts a diverse collection of performances that spans generations and genre, complimenting cult favorites with revered veterans.
Among the standouts featured for Levitation 2024, Halloween night will see showings from EBM legends Nitzer Ebb, Japanese extreme chameleons Boris, A Place to Bury Strangers and fest founders, The Black Angels.
November 1st will feature the recently resurfaced Jesus Lizard along with The Drums, Gang of Four, Pissed Jeans, Trauma Ray and more. Saturday showcases a range that goes from the electronic to the extreme with the likes of Tycho and Washed Out contrasted by Integity, Fugitive and Die Spitz.
The closing ceremonies of Sunday November 3rd will include sets from shoegaze heroes Slowdive, along with the return of The Sword and proto-metal vets Pentagram. Performing a four-night engagement, covering the duration of Levitation 2024, psych-punk sensation Osees will takeover Hotel Vegas for one of the hottest tickets in town.
